Altair is providing KMUTNB with licenses for its HyperWorks design and simulation platform.

TROY, MI, Feb 14, 2025 – Altair and the College of Industrial Technology at King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) have joined forces to support education and research.

“We’re excited to partner with CIT at KMUTNB. This collaboration will help shape future engineers and researchers,” said Lim Seng Tat, Altair’s sales director. “It shows our dedication to education and innovation.”

As part of this partnership, Altair will provide KMUTNB with access to its HyperWorks platform. This includes tools like Inspire Cast, Inspire Form, and Inspire Extrude. Students in undergraduate courses, master’s programs, and doctoral research will use these tools for studies in plastic technology and mechanical engineering. By integrating Altair software into the curriculum, students will gain valuable experience with leading industry tools.

“This agreement is a big step in connecting academia with industry,” said Dr. Smith Songpiriyakij, CIT dean at KMUTNB. “With Altair’s technology, we can give our students the skills needed to succeed in today’s fast-changing world.”
