Amy Adams recently opened up about how her life has shifted since her daughter Aviana was born in 2010. In an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, she shared that motherhood has made her approach life differently.
At 50, the actress feels she has been taking life a bit “too seriously.” She reflected, saying, “I was trying so hard to please everyone, and that left me exhausted.” Eventually, she realized this was unsustainable.
“I learned to be honest about my feelings and needs,” Amy mentioned. Instead of pretending to have everything under control, she found strength in reaching out for support when necessary.
Additionally, she focused on organizing her priorities and embraced the importance of being present in each moment. “It’s about enjoying my time with this beautiful being in front of me,” she said, referring to her daughter.
Amy’s journey highlights the challenges and joys of motherhood, showing how it can inspire personal growth and self-awareness.
