Today, Apple introduced Pixelmator Pro for iPad alongside a new subscription service called Apple Creator Studio. This launch has some updates regarding the existing Pixelmator and Photomator apps for iOS.
Pixelmator for iOS will stop receiving updates. Originally released in 2014, Pixelmator provided essential image editing tools like cropping and color adjustments. Even though it will remain functional, no new features or changes are expected.
On the other hand, Photomator will still be available for purchase and will receive future updates. Apple has confirmed that users can continue to enjoy this app.
Despite Pixelmator for iOS becoming outdated, it received its last update just four months ago, showing it was still somewhat active. You can still download Pixelmator here and Photomator here.
