Went. Trial for the forty first NTPC Sub Junior National Archery Competition was held at Gaya College Sports Complex, Bihar. In which 60 archers from throughout the state had been taking part. In this trial, 7 players from Gaya have been chosen for the nationwide group, who will symbolize the Bihar group. This competition will be held in Jaipur from 3-10 January. Trial for archers of girls and boys class between 14 to 17 years was held in Gaya. During this, three classes of competitions had been organized – Indian Round, Recurve and Compound. After the trials, archers had been chosen for the Bihar group.
Seven archers chosen for nationwide
In this trial, seven archers from Gaya have been chosen for the National. Apart from Karan Kumar and Adarsh Kumar of Gaya, Rohit of Bhagalpur and Ayush of Bhojpur have been chosen in the Indian Round boys class. In the women class, Sanskriti of Bhojpur, Mahi of Gaya, Lucky of Bhojpur and Arpana of Patna have been chosen. Whereas in the recurve boys class, Samarth, Rahul of Bhojpur and Naman Kumar of Gaya had been chosen. Whereas in the women class, Poonam of Gaya, Rajlakshmi of Bhojpur, Diya Kumari of Gaya and Aradhya Kumari are included. Players have also been chosen in the compound spherical.
60 players from Bihar took half
Giving data on this regard, Magadh Archery coach Jaiprakash Kumar stated that NTPC National Sub Junior Archery Competition is to be held in Jaipur in January 2025. Players had been chosen for Bihar group for NTPC National Sub Junior Archery Competition. In which 7 archers from Gaya have been chosen. Trials had been held in Gaya, through which 60 archers from throughout the state had been taking part. After the trials, the players have been chosen for the National and all the chosen archers will symbolize the Bihar group in the NTPC National Sub Junior Archery Competition from 3-10 January 2025.
