Hyderabad: Aryaveer Dewan, a promising squash player from Delhi, has made headlines by winning the prestigious Asian Boys Under-19 title at the 33rd Asian Junior Individual Squash Championships in Panzhihua, China. Aryaveer is now only the fourth Indian to achieve this honor.

In the final match, Aryaveer showcased his skill by defeating South Korea’s Jonghyeok Lee with scores of 11-2, 11-7, and 11-9. His victory adds to India’s proud history in junior squash and highlights Aryaveer’s rapid ascent in the sport. He had already made waves by winning the Boys’ U-17 Asian title last year.

Shiven Agarwal earned a silver in the boys’ U-17 category, while Anika Dubey finished second in the girls’ U-17 section. Amarya Bajaj also took silver in the boys’ U-13 event.
