Atelier Ryza Secret Trilogy Deluxe Pack: No Switch Upgrade Path or Save Data Transfer – What You Need to Know!

Koei Tecmo has just dropped an exciting new trailer for the Atelier Ryza Secret Trilogy Deluxe Pack. This collection features expanded versions of the beloved Atelier Ryza games and is set to launch on November 13, 2025, for the upcoming Switch 2, as well as for the original Switch.

But there’s a catch. If you’ve already purchased any of the original Atelier Ryza games—Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout, Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy, or Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key—you won’t be able to upgrade or transfer your save data. According to the official Atelier website, upgrades and data transfers are not supported. This may be disappointing for dedicated fans who have invested time in the series.

However, the Deluxe Pack offers some enticing new features. Players can look forward to new characters and a Custom Combat mode that lets you tweak enemy numbers and levels. If you have save data from the original games, you’ll also receive bonus items.

In Ryza 1, new characters like Agatha, Kilo, and Romy join the fray with a storyline that unfolds alongside the main quest. Ryza 2 brings Empel and Lila, along with an entirely new map to explore. Meanwhile, Ryza 3 introduces a side story featuring Clifford and Serri, complete with new events and an extra island to discover.

The interest around the Atelier series is growing, especially among RPG fans. Recent surveys suggest that nearly 60% of gamers prefer rich narratives and character development in their games. Koei Tecmo seems to be tapping into this trend, enhancing the stories and gameplay mechanics to attract both veteran players and newcomers.

As fans eagerly await this release, conversations on social media are buzzing with excitement about the new features and the decision to not allow data transfers. Many are sharing their hopes and expectations for the new content.

So, are you excited to plunge into the Atelier Ryza world once again, or will you be waiting to see how the new features stack up?
