Sprouts Farmers Market has issued a recall for their Smoked Mozzarella Pasta Salad. This action comes after the supplier warned that the pasta may be contaminated with listeria monocytogenes, a harmful bacteria.

The recalled products have best-by dates ranging from October 10, 2025, to October 29, 2025. According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, these items were distributed to 24 states, including Texas, between August 31, 2025, and October 7, 2025.

If you bought these salads from the deli section or as grab-and-go items, you should throw them away or return them for a full refund. No illnesses have been reported so far.

Listeria monocytogenes can pose serious health risks, especially for young children, the elderly, and those with weakened immune systems. While healthy people might experience mild symptoms like fever and nausea, pregnant women face more severe risks, including miscarriages.
