HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. – This weekend, Washington’s beach volleyball team is set to compete in the final full-team fall pairs tournament at the Surf City Collegiate Challenge/AVCA Southern California Qualifier on October 25-26. You can follow live stats and results here.
The tournament will feature three divisions. The AVCA Championship Bid Division has eight pools of four teams each. Winners of these pools will move on to bracket play, while the other two divisions consist of ten pools, also leading to bracket play on Sunday.
Teams from across the country will be in attendance, including strong programs like Boise State, CSUN, Florida State, and USC. This blend of talent promises an exciting competition.

Washington recently wrapped up its time at the SCE West Coast Championship from October 10-12. They faced tough competition, going up against 11 top-20 teams. Emma Hohenauer and Teila Allen shined in the Gold Division, pulling off wins against Pepperdine and TCU. Meanwhile, Avery Towne and Sammy Hsu stood out in the Silver Division, defeating Pepperdine, Stanford, and UCLA.
