Japanese pop sensation BE:FIRST is set to make a splash on the global stage with their first world tour, titled *Who Is BE:FIRST?* Starting on April 22 in Los Angeles, the tour will take them to 15 cities across North America, Europe, and Asia, marking a significant step in their international journey.
This seven-member group—Sota, Shunto, Manato, Ryuhei, Junon, Ryoki, and Leo—was formed through the reality show *The First* and debuted in 2021. Their first single, “Gifted,” topped the Billboard Japan Hot 100 chart, leading to numerous collaborations with artists like Jonas Blue and K-pop group ATEEZ. Over three years, BE:FIRST has blended pop, EDM, hip-hop, and R&B, creating a unique sound that has captivated fans, affectionately known as BESTY.
“We can’t wait to kick off our world tour,” the group expressed. “Performing abroad has been a dream, and we’re thrilled to see how our international fans will react to our music. We’re especially excited for the chance to share stories about local cultures during our shows and create unforgettable memories together!”
SKY-HI, the founder of their management agency BMSG and BE:FIRST’s main producer, believes the group’s performances meet global standards. He feels proud of their success in Japan while also recognizing their fresh start internationally. “We want to keep creating excitement worldwide while staying true to our roots,” he shared.
Besides concerts, BE:FIRST is teaming up with Steelwool Entertainment, known for managing artists like Anderson .Paak and Hayley Kiyoko. Steelwool CEO Kevin Morrow was impressed by their presence on stage in Osaka and believes the world is ready to experience their talent.
The members also encourage fans to stay healthy and share local recommendations, saying, “We’re excited to explore your cities! If you know any delicious food spots or must-visit places, let us know!”
Fans can look forward to VIP packages for the tour and new music, including their upcoming single “Spacecraft,” set to release in February. This follows their recent hit “Sailing,” a collaboration with the anime series *One Piece*.
