NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont men’s cross country team put forth a commendable performance at the seventh annual Gans Creek Classic, finishing 15th out of 26 teams. This event drew top-tier talent, with competitors from Kansas, Nebraska, Ohio State, UCLA, Vanderbilt, and Washington University St. Louis.

Andrew Hammel led the Bruins, clocking in at 24:23.8. He was joined by teammates Drew Brill and Sam Shuman, who both finished under 25 minutes, placing 97th and 109th, respectively.

Freshmen Noah Mathews and Max Malloy also contributed to the team’s results, showcasing the promising talent within the squad.
