Beloved Discontinued Candy Makes a Comeback with Exciting New Flavors!

Products in the food world come and go, sometimes leaving fans devastated. I remember how upset I was when Creme Savers, those delightful fruit-and-cream candies, vanished from shelves in 2011. They reminded me of childhood moments, like finding a wrapped Strawberries & Creme candy in my dad’s truck.

After their disappearance, fans bombarded Mars Wrigley, pleading for the return of Creme Savers. However, the company has shifted its focus to new innovations, like freeze-dried Skittles and healthier Starburst options. Thankfully, there’s a glimmer of hope for nostalgia lovers. A company named Iconic Candy stepped in to revive things we once cherished.

In 2021, Mars Wrigley granted Iconic Candy the rights to Creme Savers. They happily brought back Strawberries & Creme and Orange & Creme, but they’re not stopping there. Soon, you’ll get to enjoy two more beloved flavors: Chocolate & Caramel and Raspberries & Creme. Plus, they’re introducing two exciting new ones: Blueberries & Creme and Peaches & Creme.

Chocolate & Caramel Creme Savers had a brief stint in the past but were replaced by more popular options. Iconic Candy announced their comeback in February, making them available in stores since April. These rich candies blend the sweetness of chocolate with a hint of salty caramel.

At the 2025 Sweets & Snacks Expo, Iconic Candy hinted at the upcoming flavors. They are also launching sugar-free versions of Strawberries & Creme and Orange & Creme, catering to those watching their sugar intake.

Interestingly, Raspberries & Creme was a fan favorite chosen through voting, beating out Peaches and Blueberries. Instead of making fans choose only one, Iconic Candy decided to offer all three flavors. That means we could have six different Creme Savers to enjoy, not counting the sugar-free ones.

While there’s no specific release date for the new flavors yet, keep your eyes peeled in candy aisles! Nostalgia is making a comeback, and it’s sweeter than ever.
