Ben Affleck has been quiet lately, especially after his divorce from Jennifer Lopez. However, recent photos of him and his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, at a paintball birthday party for their son have sparked some buzz.
On Monday, Page Six shared pictures of the two enjoying a moment together. The next day, sources hinted that Affleck would be open to rekindling things with Garner if the timing were right. But it seems Garner, who is currently dating businessman John Miller, isn’t on the same page.
A different source, also speaking to Page Six, claimed that Garner is happy with her current relationship and that she and Affleck have a solid co-parenting dynamic. Despite Affleck’s apparent affection during their outing, it appears there’s no romance brewing.
Shortly after the initial headlines, TMZ posted a video showing Affleck giving Garner a brief hug while she played. While some viewed this as flirty, it seemed more supportive than romantic.
On Wednesday, a source told TMZ that Affleck isn’t looking to start anything serious with Garner. Instead, he’s focusing on work and his kids.
The buzz didn’t die down just yet, as another insider claimed Affleck enjoys his time with Garner and is often “extra giddy” around her. However, there were also whispers of Jennifer Lopez’s discontent over the close relationship. According to reports, she felt uncomfortable seeing photos of Affleck and Garner and considered them “salt in the wound.” Yet, another source mentioned that Lopez is busy concentrating on her own life and happiness.
For now, Affleck, Garner, and Lopez seem to be focused on their respective careers and families. Affleck is gearing up for promotional work for The Accountant 2, while Garner continues to thrive in her own projects. Let’s give them the space they need to navigate their lives.
