Bethel University Unveils Exciting New Business School During Major Reorganization

The business school will include existing majors, such as communications and accounting, along with a master’s program in business administration. Tom Brown has been appointed as the first dean and is excited about the possibilities.

Provost Robin Rylaarsdam explained that while the structure is changing, daily routines for students and faculty will remain the same. No majors or minors will be added or removed. The goal is to enrich students’ experiences by fostering connections with a wider range of peers and mentors. “They will just have more interactions this way,” she said.

With about 2,600 undergraduate students enrolled, Bethel University is actively creating new schools focused on health and sciences, theology, and arts and education. This strategic direction has already started attracting significant donations for the business school, although exact figures are still being finalized.
