Athens, Ga. — Trinity Beth from Georgia has earned a spot in the NCAA Women’s Golf Championships, which is exciting news for this freshman from Calvert City, Ky. She will compete in the Ann Arbor Regional from May 10 to May 13.

Trinity will be one of 66 golfers at the University of Michigan Golf Course, including 12 teams and 6 individual players. The top five teams and the lowest individual not part of those teams will move on to the NCAA Championships in Carlsbad, Calif., later this month.
She joined the Bulldogs in January, making a strong impact by leading the team in stroke average at 71.41, along with 11 rounds at par or better.
One of her standout performances was at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic, where she helped her team secure both individual and team titles. Beth shot a fantastic 6-under 66 in her first round and finished the tournament at 10-under 206, just one stroke shy of the event record.
In her debut season, Beth has already notched four top-25 finishes and two in the top 10. Her talent earned her SEC Freshman of the Week honors twice.
Georgia’s golf program has a notable history in national championships. Since 1979, they’ve celebrated 27 top-20 finishes. Notable Bulldogs include Terri Moody and Cindy Schreyer, who were champions in their respective years.

Trinity shared her mixed feelings about the competition. “I wish our team could compete together, but I’m thrilled for this individual chance. Michigan will be a new experience for me, and I’m looking forward to it.”
