Betty Broderick, known for the shocking double murder of her ex-husband and his new wife in 1989, has died at 78 while in prison. She was serving a life sentence after being convicted of second-degree murder.
Broderick was moved from her prison to a medical center on April 18, 2023. Her death, initially attributed to natural causes, will be officially examined by the San Bernardino County coroner.
