Recent data from Bharat Taxi shows impressive growth:
- Over 517,000 drivers have signed up.
- More than 5 million customers are registered.
- Close to 1 million rides are completed each month.
Vivek Pandey, COO of Bharat Taxi, highlighted Mumbai’s potential as a strong market and noted the enthusiastic support from local driver unions. This backs up the confidence in Bharat Taxi’s growth strategy.
This initiative also aligns with the vision of Amit Shah, the Union Minister for Home and Cooperation, to establish Bharat Taxi in all major Indian cities within the next three years. This means Mumbai is a significant milestone on a nationwide map for urban mobility improvement.
