Bharat Tex 2026: India’s Premier Global Textile Event Returns This July! Discover What’s in Store!

The Bharat Tex Trade Federation (BTTF) is excited to announce the third edition of Bharat Tex, India’s leading global textiles and apparel event. This year, it will take place from July 14 to 17, 2026, at the impressive Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.

During a press conference, BTTF leaders shared details about the upcoming event. As a coalition of major Export Promotion Councils and industry groups, their goal is to make Bharat Tex 2026 the most significant yet. The first two events established Bharat Tex as a key player on the global textiles stage.

The most recent event in February 2025 drew over 120,000 visitors, including 6,000 international buyers from 120 countries. With more than 5,000 exhibitors, the event created an estimated USD 2.5 billion in export opportunities and ₹2,100 crore in investment commitments. This success shows the growing importance of India in the global textile market.

Mr. Naren Goenka, Chairman of BTTF, highlighted how Bharat Tex 2026 aims to elevate India’s textile value chain. He mentioned the Prime Minister’s 5F Vision—Farm to Fibre, Fibre to Factory, Factory to Fashion, and Fashion to Foreign. This vision reflects India’s commitment to innovation, inclusivity, and sustainability.

Mr. Bhadresh Dodhia, Co-Chairman of BTTF, emphasized that the event will feature the Global Textile Dialogue 2026. This forum will bring together industry leaders, policymakers, and sustainability experts to discuss Industry 4.0 trends, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) responsibilities, and new trade dynamics. With the textile sector evolving rapidly, discussions like these are vital.

Moreover, Bharat Tex 2026 aims to strengthen India’s position as a reliable global sourcing hub. Small and medium enterprises, startups, and artisans will find new opportunities to connect with international markets and technology partners.
