Blue Skies Space Launches Ambitious Satellite Fleet Around the Moon to Uncover the Secrets of the Ancient Universe

The Italian Space Agency has selected Blue Skies Space, a European company, to develop a satellite fleet around the moon aimed at unraveling the mysteries of the ancient universe. Alongside OHB Italia, Blue Skies is launching a project named RadioLuna. This initiative will explore whether small satellites can capture faint radio signals from the "Dark Ages" of the universe—before the first stars emerged.

Detecting these radio signals is challenging from Earth due to overwhelming human-made radio interference. However, the far side of the moon offers a quieter environment, allowing the possibility of picking up these elusive cosmic whispers.
