Last night in Boise, the Broncos pulled off an impressive win against UNLV in a thrilling five-set match, with a final score of 25-22, 24-26, 28-26, 23-25, 15-12. Ari Bilby had a standout performance, logging a season-high 21 kills, the highest for any Bronco this year.
Sophomore Lilli Etter also shone brightly, with career highs in assists (38) and digs (22). She became the first Boise State player in ten years to achieve at least 30 assists and 20 digs in a match. Sydney Dreves contributed with a double-double, recording 12 kills and 14 digs, while Layla Smith added 16 kills and seven blocks, and Eliza Sharp chipped in 14 kills.
The match showcased Boise State’s offensive strength, hitting .281, marking the third time this season they’ve hit above .280 in conference play. On defense, they outblocked UNLV 12-9.
