Franchise owner Habib Hashimi also has deep roots in the restaurant industry. His family’s legacy inspired him to open a Bojangles. He noted the brand’s significant online buzz. “People on social media, especially TikTok and Instagram, rave about it. When I tried the food, I understood why,” Hashimi explained.
Bojangles has earned its spot as a “Carolina legend.” Scarborough emphasized its unique approach: “We cook like grandmas but also cater to the younger crowd.” The food boasts a Southern charm with a modern twist.
What sets Bojangles apart is its cooking method. Unlike typical fast food, Bojangles hand-breads all its chicken and makes its biscuits from scratch, involving 49 steps. Hashimi described the biscuits as “soft, buttery, and delicious.”
