BOSTON – The Boston University field hockey team faced a tough match against No. 4 Harvard, losing 7-0 at New Balance Field on Monday night.
Harvard scored first late in the first quarter and quickly added four more goals before halftime. They kept the momentum going with two additional goals at the start of the second half. Though BU had a strong second half, with five of the last six corners, they couldn’t find the net against Harvard’s goalie, Linde Burger.
Sophomore Martha le Huray starred for Harvard, contributing two goals and two assists, while junior Sage Piekarski added two goals and an assist.
This loss brings BU’s record to 5-6, while Harvard remains undefeated at 10-0.
