- St. Catharines – Grimsby – Northern Niagara Region
- Hamilton
- Kitchener – Cambridge – Region of Waterloo
- Listowel – Milverton – Northern Perth County
- Stratford – Mitchell – Southern Perth County
- Waterloo – Wellington
The storm is expected to bring:
- Total snowfall between 25 and 35 cm, possibly more in some areas.
- Snowfall rates of 3 to 6 cm per hour.
- Very low visibility due to heavy snow and blowing conditions.
Timing:
Snow will start this afternoon and continue into Sunday evening, with the heaviest snowfall anticipated on Sunday.
A powerful low-pressure system is moving in, bringing heavy snow. Initially, expect about 10 cm of snow today. Tonight, there may be lighter snow or freezing drizzle, especially near the Golden Horseshoe. As Sunday morning arrives, conditions will worsen rapidly with an additional 15 to 25 cm of snow.
Travel could become very difficult, especially on Sunday. Visibility may drop to nearly zero at times, making it dangerous to be on the roads. If you can, it’s best to postpone non-essential travel.
