Reinier de Ridder has a busy schedule ahead. He’s set to fight Anthony “Fluffy” Hernandez as the main event at UFC Vancouver on October 18. This event will take place at the Rogers Center.
UFC CEO Dana White revealed this matchup along with another exciting fight. Kevin Holland will face Canada’s Mike Malott. Additional confirmed bouts include Marlon “Chito” Vera vs. Aiemann Zahabi and Manon Fiorot vs. Jasmine Jasudavicius at flyweight.
De Ridder recently called for a title shot against the new middleweight champion, Khamzat Chimaev, following his impressive win over Dricus du Plessis at UFC 319. He has been unstoppable this year, going 3-0. In July, he defeated former champion Robert Whittaker. Instead of waiting for a title shot, he’s eager to get back into action.
A former two-division champion at ONE Championship, de Ridder is currently 4-0 in the UFC, with victories over notable fighters like Bo Nickal and Kevin Holland.
On the other side, Hernandez aims to extend his winning streak after a notable victory against Roman Dolidze. That marked his eighth consecutive win, adding to previous victories over Brendan Allen and Michel Pereira.
Holland, competing for the fifth time in 2025, is looking to get back in the win column. He started strong with wins over Gunnar Nelson and Vicente Luque but faced a setback with a loss to Daniel Rodriguez at UFC 318.
Malott also seeks to bounce back after suffering his first UFC loss to Neil Magny earlier this year.
