PHOENIX — Arizona’s attorney general, Kris Mayes, will announce a sentencing related to a significant Medicaid fraud case focused on behavioral health care. This case is deemed one of the largest health care fraud schemes in the state’s history.
Prosecutors claim the scheme primarily targeted Native American communities, involving false claims for behavioral health services. Mayes will also share updates on Arizona’s efforts to combat fraud in its Medicaid program.
