The change comes after LSU fired Brian Kelly, who had a record of 34 wins and 14 losses over four seasons. His exit follows a tough loss to Texas A&M, leaving the Tigers with a 5-3 record and a disappointing three losses in their last four games. Landry criticized Woodward for his handling of Kelly’s contract, which amounted to a staggering $95 million over ten years, including a $54 million buyout. “We’re not rewarding failure,” he stated firmly.
