Mitch Barnhart will step down as the University of Kentucky’s athletic director in June. But he isn’t leaving the campus entirely. In a recent press release, UK President Eli Capilouto announced that Barnhart will take on a new role as the first executive-in-residence of the UK Sport and Workforce Initiative.
