Argentinian President Javier Milei’s party, La Libertad Avanza, has achieved a remarkable victory in the country’s legislative elections. Recent scandals, including bribery allegations involving Milei’s sister, have also cast shadows on his administration’s commitment to anti-corruption.
For many citizens, the harsh austerity measures have made daily life increasingly difficult. Households now pay more for basic services like electricity and public transport due to cuts in subsidies.
