Brielle Biermann is having second thoughts about her past filler choices.
In a recent episode of “Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind,” the 28-year-old reality star opened up about her regrets. She started getting lip injections when she turned 18, a decision she made after her mother, Kim Zolciak, took her to a popular clinic.
Biermann recalled, “I graduated high school, and right after, my mom brought me to LA to get my lips done.”
Today, she regrets getting under-eye filler, noting that one side looks puffier than the other. Although Zolciak cautioned her against it, Biermann felt that growing up around cosmetic procedures made them feel normal.
“I always went to my mom’s doctor appointments. She was getting every laser treatment out there to stay youthful, so I thought, ‘I need lip filler too,’” Biermann explained.
She even described filler as being as routine as “getting a Diet Coke.” Over time, her insecurities led her to seek more procedures that she felt would fix her appearance.
Social media played a big role in this. “My job is on social media. Doctors would reach out to offer free services,” she said. “If I felt like I could improve something, I would go for it.”
The discussion around cosmetic procedures isn’t new. Many celebrities face scrutiny for their choices. Recently, Hilary Duff stirred up comments when fans speculated about her new look, suggesting she had altered her cheekbones.
The conversation around age and cosmetic enhancements continues. Actress Jennifer Garner advised caution in a Harper’s Bazaar interview. “Be very, very judicious and wait as absolutely long as possible to add anything,” she warned young people.
This ongoing dialogue about beauty, self-esteem, and social media pressures reflects a broader cultural trend. A 2022 survey showed that 51% of young adults feel pressured to meet certain beauty standards on social media, highlighting the impact these platforms have on personal choices regarding cosmetic procedures.
Biermann’s story is a reminder of the complex feelings surrounding beauty in today’s world. Her journey reflects the need for young people to consider the implications of cosmetic enhancements seriously.
