BrightCHAMPS, Backed by GSV Ventures, Expands Horizons with Edjust Acquisition in K12 Education Marketplace

BrightCHAMPS, an edtech platform backed by GSV Ventures, has acquired Edjust, a K12 education marketplace. The deal involves both cash and stock, although the exact terms haven’t been disclosed. This acquisition is part of BrightCHAMPS’ strategy for international expansion.

Edjust started in 2022, founded by Dushyant Panchal, Anmol Mittal, and Sanjay Panikar, who have backgrounds in edtech sales. The platform leverages artificial intelligence and emotional intelligence to directly connect with parents interested in educational products, mainly in the US and UK.

With this acquisition, BrightCHAMPS aims to improve its customer acquisition standards. The Edjust founders plan to enhance the sales approach and grow parent networks in over 30 locations where BrightCHAMPS operates.

BrightCHAMPS plans to integrate augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and extended reality (XR) into its offerings. This will provide a comprehensive view of the learning journey for students and their families considering enrollment in courses.

“This milestone signifies our commitment to sustainable growth,” said Ravi Bhushan, the Founder and CEO of BrightCHAMPS. He emphasized that customer satisfaction is vital for the long-term success of educational products.

Alongside refining their sales model, the Edjust team will establish new channels for academic subjects such as Math, Science, and English, focusing on students’ overall success.

Dushyant Panchal, Co-founder and CEO of Edjust, expressed excitement about contributing to BrightCHAMPS’ goal of becoming a leading educational solutions provider worldwide, catering to students in their preferred languages.

BrightCHAMPS offers a range of STEM-accredited classes in subjects like coding, robotics, and financial literacy, available in more than 30 countries. Since its launch in 2020, the platform has raised $63 million from several investors, including GSV Ventures and BEENEXT.

This acquisition marks the fourth for BrightCHAMPS. Previously, it acquired Metamorphosis Edu, Schola, and Education10x, among others. Industry experts have noted that as funding becomes tighter, many companies may look towards mergers and acquisitions to ensure survival in the competitive edtech landscape.
