PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Brown men’s tennis team made a significant mark on Sunday. They achieved a memorable victory against Delaware, winning 4-2 in their final match of the ECAC Championships.

Lukas Phimvongsa kicked things off with a strong straight-set win. Following him, both Noah Hernandez and Zander Bravo fought back from setbacks to secure their matches. Finally, Alex Finkelstein sealed the deal for the Bears in a thrilling top-seed showdown. He won the first set 7-6 in a tiebreak and then clinched the second set in another tiebreak, 7-6, marking Brown’s first ECAC Championship win since 2020.
The team’s success has given them a boost of confidence as they prepare for their next challenge in Queens, New York, where they’ll face St. John’s on February 21.
