Providence Police are asking for help to identify a person who may have information about a recent tragic shooting at Brown University. This shooting occurred during an economics study session, resulting in two students killed and nine others injured.
The police released new images of an individual seen near the scene. This person was captured wearing dark pants, a light hoodie under a blue jacket, and carrying a tote bag. They were walking through a yard close to Brown’s campus around the time of the shooting.
Providence Police Chief Oscar Perez emphasized that this individual could hold crucial details about the incident. Just a day prior, authorities had shared video footage of a different person of interest in the case. This video showed the suspect’s movements around College Hill before and after the shooting, adding urgency to the investigation.
