Brown University’s equestrian team performed admirably at the Ivy Show held at Cornell on April 19.
Mimi Gochman led the charge, securing first place in the Open Fences competition with an impressive score of 86, the highest of the day. She also earned fifth place in the Open Flat.
Bridget Hickton showcased strong skills, finishing fourth in both the Open Flat and Open Fences events. Similarly, Izzie Cope claimed fourth in Intermediate Fences Section A and fifth in Limit Flat Section A.
Micaela Winthrop took third in Intermediate Fences Section B and fourth in Limit Flat Section B. Nyah Bhat was also competitive, placing fourth in Limit Fences Section A.
Several other riders showed promising performances. Adelynne Crisfield grabbed third in Limit Fences Section B, while Elle Graham secured second in Intermediate Flat and third in Limit Fences Section C.
The limits were pushed by Lauren Zhou, Micaela Winthrop, and several others, each vying for top spots in their respective categories, demonstrating the depth of talent within the team.
