Bryan Kim Triumphs: Celebrating His All-ACC Honors at Duke University

Bryan Kim Shines on All-ACC Men’s Golf Team

In June 2025, Bryan Kim, a sophomore golfer from Duke University, was named to the All-ACC Team. This recognition is special. Kim is the first Blue Devil to earn this honor since Ian Siebers won it back-to-back in 2021 and 2022.

This season, Kim has showcased impressive skills. He led Duke with an average score of 71.44 strokes per round and rocked an overall score to par of +2. He played in all 12 team events, contributing to 33 rounds out of a possible 36, which is a remarkable success rate of 91.7%.

Kim didn’t just lead in average score; he was also a standout in under-par rounds, recording 15 of them. He tied for third at the NCAA Reno Regional, matching his best finish of the season, where he shot 6-under 210. This performance helped him qualify individually for the NCAA Championships. He also had notable finishes at the Rod Myers Invitational and the ACC Championship.

In terms of records, Kim boasts a career stroke average of 72.01, ranking fifth in Duke history. His current season average sits at 71.44, placing him ninth in the program’s records.

According to recent statistics from the NCAA, Duke’s men’s golf program continues to be a strong contender, with Kim’s contributions leading the team to greater heights. As more players join the All-ACC Team, it’s clear that the Blue Devils are continuously pushing for excellence in collegiate golf.

In an interview, Duke’s golf coach praised Kim’s work ethic and dedication: “Bryan’s focus and hard work on the course are inspiring to the entire team. He sets a great example.”

With this acknowledgment, Kim joins other notable athletes like David Ford, named ACC Player of the Year from North Carolina, and Albert Hansson, the Freshman of the Year from Georgia Tech.

Bryan Kim’s journey is just beginning, and with his talent and drive, he could become one of the most celebrated golfers in Duke’s history.
