SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Gavin Noriega had an incredible game, driving in six runs as the Bryant baseball team crushed Merrimack 13-1 on Tuesday at Conaty Park. This win brings Bryant’s record to 4-5-1 overall.

Noriega’s performance was impressive. He scored runs in his first three at-bats, starting with a three-run home run in the first inning. He followed that with a two-run double in the second and an RBI groundout in the third. He ended the game with two hits, six RBIs, and one run scored. Brandyn Durand also shined, contributing two hits and three RBIs.

The Bulldogs’ pitching was equally strong. Five pitchers combined to hold Merrimack to just two hits throughout the game.
