The "Build Bharat Expo 2025" wrapped up on March 21 at Bharat Mandapam. Organized by the Indian Industries Association (IIA), this three-day event showcased India’s manufacturing and industrial potential.
Dr. Sanjay Mayukh commended Indian entrepreneurs, calling them "Karmayogis" for their hard work and dedication. He emphasized the importance of innovation and global outreach for business growth. According to him, events like this expo are key to branding India as a manufacturing leader. The excitement and involvement from Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), along with international partnerships, highlight the growing strength of India’s entrepreneurial scene. With proper support, Indian businesses can make a significant impact worldwide.
Over the course of the event, experts led seminars on various critical topics. These included industrial development, green energy, and the role of artificial intelligence in business. More than 2,000 people attended these seminars, showcasing a keen interest in advancing knowledge and skills.
The expo also turned out to be a hub for business negotiations, with high-value agreements surpassing Rs 1,000 crore. It attracted over 5,000 visitors, including more than 50 industry experts, architects, builders, and government representatives.
Such events play an important role in reinforcing India’s economic and technological ties with other countries. They not only foster collaborations but also give MSMEs a much-needed platform for growth and visibility on a global scale.
A report by the Global MSME Report indicates that small businesses contribute significantly to India’s GDP, showcasing their importance in the economy. Experts agree that supporting MSMEs is crucial for sustainable development and job creation.
At the closing of the expo, IIA General Secretary Alok Agrawal thanked all attendees and exhibitors, expressing optimism for the next event. He hopes for continued support to create more opportunities for MSMEs in India.
