CAA MEN’S BASKETBALL UPDATE – JAN. 27

HOME COURT ADVANTAGE
Three teams are winning at home: Delaware (3-0), Towson (4-0), and William & Mary (4-0). Charleston faced its first loss at home, falling 85-83 to UNCW. However, they bounced back on Saturday, defeating Elon 76-62 and ending Elon’s perfect home record. William & Mary remains undefeated at home this season, boasting a 9-0 record after beating Monmouth 78-73. Towson is also strong at home, securing all four of its league games with an 83-67 victory over N.C. A&T.

TOWSON’S WINNING STREAK
The Tigers have the longest current winning streak in the league with five wins since January 9. Nendah Tarke, Tyler Tejada, and Dylan Williamson have been instrumental, scoring 59.1% of the team’s points during this run. Towson is enjoying its best start ever in CAA history, holding a 6-1 record and sharing the top spot with William & Mary.

SEAHAVKS ON A ROLL
UNCW is hot, winning four straight after taking down William & Mary, Charleston, and Hampton. Bo Montgomery is leading the charge with an average of 16.7 points per game alongside solid contributions from teammates Donovan Newby and Khamari McGriff.

CAMPBELL’S RESURGENCE
