Calling All Saquon Barkley Fans: Don’t Miss Your Limited Edition Sports Illustrated Super Bowl Commemorative Issue!

Saquon Barkley celebrated his 28th birthday in style at the Caesars Superdome. This wasn’t just any birthday bash; it was his first Super Bowl victory with the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles triumphed over the Kansas City Chiefs with a solid score of 40-22, and Barkley raised the Lombardi Trophy high in the sky.

Barkley wasn’t alone in this momentous occasion. He joined fellow Penn State alumni Jahan Dotson and Tariq Castro-Fields, adding to the legacy of Penn State at the Super Bowl. In total, Penn State has seen 50 former players earn 69 Super Bowl rings since the game began. They’ve sent athletes to 54 of the 59 Super Bowls held since 1967. Barkley also made history for his high school, Whitehall High School, by winning the seventh Super Bowl ring for the school.

This victory is significant for Barkley and his fans. To celebrate, they can get their hands on the Sports Illustrated commemorative Super Bowl issue. It features two covers—one with Super Bowl MVP Jalen Hurts and another showcasing Barkley himself, who broke his franchise’s rushing record this season. The issue captures Barkley’s incredible journey in Philadelphia leading up to this championship win.

The Super Bowl LIX victory is a proud moment not just for Barkley but for all Penn State supporters. This win brings together a community and showcases the university’s strong ties to professional football. With each Super Bowl, the history and spirit of these athletes continue to shine.
