The film made an estimated $88.5 million in its first three days across 4,105 theaters. When including the four-day tally, projections raise that figure to about $100 million. Globally, it seems set to pull in approximately $192.4 million, thanks to $92.4 million from international markets.

This latest Marvel film had a hefty production budget of $180 million, meaning it needs about $425 million worldwide to break even. To give you an idea of its success, it ranks as the fourth-best launch for Presidents Day, following powerhouse hits like Black Panther, Deadpool, and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

Despite the strong opening, early reviews have not been kind. IGN rated it 5 out of 10, stating that it doesn’t feel groundbreaking and lacks the spark expected from its star-studded cast, including Anthony Mackie and Harrison Ford.

Now, many are watching to see if this film can maintain its momentum and help shift the trend for Marvel movies, especially with upcoming releases like Thunderbolts in May and The Fantastic Four: First Steps in July.
