Catch the Action: Palmetto Sports & Entertainment Teams Up with Charlotte Hornets to Stream 5 Exciting Games Across the Carolinas!

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Fans of the Charlotte Hornets have exciting news! Five games this season will be available on free local television thanks to a partnership between the Hornets, Gray Media, Capitol Broadcasting, and FanDuel Sports Southeast. This is a big deal since Hornets games haven’t aired on over-the-air TV since the 2007-08 NBA season.

Here are the five games you can catch on local channels:

  • January 27 – Los Angeles Lakers vs. Charlotte Hornets at 7 p.m.
  • January 31 – Los Angeles Clippers vs. Charlotte Hornets at 7 p.m.
  • February 5 – Milwaukee Bucks vs. Charlotte Hornets at 7 p.m.
  • February 27 – Charlotte Hornets vs. Dallas Mavericks at 8:30 p.m.
  • March 3 – Golden State Warriors vs. Charlotte Hornets at 7 p.m.

Shelly Cayette-Weston, the Hornets’ President of Business Operations, expressed excitement about reaching more fans. “We’re committed to growing our fanbase and making our broadcasts more accessible,” she said.

Sandy Breland, COO of Gray Media, added, “We’re thrilled to bring the Charlotte Hornets to viewers across the Carolinas.” This partnership is all about delivering live sports to eager fans.

If you’re in Myrtle Beach, you can watch these games for free on WMBF channel 32.3.

Viewers can expect a vibrant broadcast featuring familiar voices. The Hornets’ broadcast team includes play-by-play announcer Eric Collins, analyst Dell Curry, and sideline reporter Shannon Spake. This opportunity arose as part of the NBA’s partnership with Main Street Sports Group, which owns FanDuel Sports Southeast.
