Celebrate Homecoming: Discover Austin Peay’s Exciting Fan Experience!

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Austin Peay State University is gearing up for its 80th annual homecoming football game against North Alabama. The game takes place Saturday at 3 p.m. at Fortera Stadium.

Homecoming is packed with fun events. Fans can look forward to giveaways and other exciting activities as they cheer on the Governors.

Parade Details

The homecoming parade kicks off at 11 a.m. from Lot 7 near Burt Elementary. It will wind through the campus, taking Eighth Street, College Street, and Drane Street before turning onto Marion Street. To ensure safety, police will block Drane Street starting Friday evening.

After the parade ends around 11:30 a.m., Drane Street will reopen to one-way traffic. Fans can enter from Marion Street, but access from Farris will be restricted until after the parade.

Tailgating Fun

This year marks the 14th edition of Tailgate Alley in Lot 6 (Foy Lot), a beloved Austin Peay tradition. Families can enjoy a kids’ area with inflatables and face painting. Fans can claim their reserved spots starting at 11 a.m.

At noon, campus police will close the lot for additional parking later in the day.

This season also introduces the Coors Light Tailgate Experience. Located between the Jenkins Family Fieldhouse and Fortera Stadium, this area offers a premium tailgating experience. Alumni and special guests will join hosts Ryan Ploeckelman and Kyle King for live coverage of the pre-game show on ESPN Clarksville from 10 a.m.

Fans will enjoy food and drinks while getting exclusive pre-game access to meet various student-athletes.

Food and Fun

Stache Street returns this season, featuring local food trucks like Windy City Vibes and Janae’s Italian Ice.

Fans can cheer on the Governors as they arrive at Drane Street at 12:30 p.m., led by head coach Jeff Faris through Tailgate Alley.

VIP Experience

Buffalo Wild Wings offers an all-you-can-eat food and drink option in the VIPeay Zone at the south end of Fortera Stadium. This area opens 90 minutes before kickoff and serves food until halftime.

Family Fun

Families in the Clarksville-Montgomery County area will find great value in The City Forum Family Pack. For just $120, parents can purchase four season tickets in a family-friendly section and receive attraction passes for The City Forum. The Kids Zone, located in the stadium’s southeast corner, offers free games and entertainment for children during the game.

Tickets and Policies

Tickets for the homecoming game are available on Ticketmaster. Fans can check mobile ticketing options [here](https://am.ticketmaster.com/apsu/buy). The will-call window will be open from 3-6 p.m. on Friday and will reopen at 9 a.m. on game day. Note that Fortera Stadium now has a clear bag policy. Clear bags must not exceed 12 x 12 inches, and non-clear bags should be no larger than 6.5 x 4.5 inches. Metal detectors will be in place at the stadium entrance this season.
