Celebrating Creativity: Global Entertainment Awards Reveals Regional Winners for ‘Mufasa: The Lion King,’ ‘Squid Game,’ and ‘Wicked’

Exciting News: The Global Entertainment Awards has announced its regional winners, highlighting outstanding work in series, films, and games across various categories.

The GEAs celebrate the creative teams behind marketing projects, including trailers, behind-the-scenes content, key art, and social media campaigns. This is the fourth year for the awards.

One of the standout winners was season 2 of Squid Game, which secured awards in Best Teaser and Best Motion Poster. The Crown made waves again, winning two awards in the Best Long Form Behind the Scenes for its sixth season. Meanwhile, Mufasa: The Lion King took home honors for Best Motion Poster and Best Sound Design.

The awards recognize creativity around the world. In North America, Wicked won for Best Experiential Marketing, while Dune: Part Two triumphed in the Best Social Media Campaign category. In Europe, Kneecap earned Best Key Art, with Sky’s Day of the Jackal winning Best Trailer. In Latin America, Despicable Me 4 stood out with Best Social Media Spot, and in Asia, the Batman franchise received accolades for Best Experiential Marketing.

Tim Cole, CEO of the Global Entertainment Awards, expressed his gratitude for the creative efforts behind entertainment promotion, noting the exceptional quality of submissions this year.

The regional winners will have another opportunity for recognition at the Global Awards set for March 2 in the Algarve, Portugal. The GEAs will also host the Insights Forum event from February 28 to March 2.
