Celebrating Easter: A Special Message from the President

This Easter Sunday, the First Lady and I are filled with joy as we join Christians across the nation and around the world to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. His victory over sin and death offers the promise of redemption and hope to all who believe in Him.

We joyfully proclaim that Christ has risen, bringing forth a new creation and conquering evil and death through God’s incredible love.

When Jesus emerged from the tomb, He restored grace, washed away our sins, and brought us back to God, fulfilling the prophecy of being “pierced for our sins” (Isaiah 53:5). His suffering granted us victory, His love gives us life, and His resurrection symbolizes our eternal hope.

This Easter, we reflect on how the life of Jesus has shaped our nation for over 250 years. The Christian values that inspired the patriots in their fight for freedom continue to guide us today. In both the calm and the storm, the love of Christ has been our steady anchor.

As we celebrate, we hope that this season strengthens our faith and enriches our hearts. We are grateful for the countless blessings bestowed upon us. Remember, through Christ’s sacrifice, “Death is swallowed up in victory” (1 Corinthians 15:54). We echo, with joy, the timeless declaration: He is risen.

Happy Easter!

According to a recent survey by the Pew Research Center, around 66% of Americans celebrate Easter, reflecting its enduring significance. This day not only marks a religious observance but also fosters community and family gatherings. Social media trends show how people express their faith through shared messages of hope and renewal, highlighting the personal and communal aspects of this celebration. In an era of change, the message of Easter remains a powerful reminder of resilience and love.
