Binghamton Women’s Soccer Teams Excellence in Academics and Athletics
In a remarkable achievement, six standout players from the Binghamton women’s soccer team have been honored as Academic All-District selections by the College Sports Communicators. To earn this recognition, athletes needed a GPA of at least 3.50, and fewer than 5% of college athletes reach this level.
The talented players making the list are senior Allison Falvo and juniors Megan Baker, Bella Brown, Sophia Garofalo, Rebecca Kessler, and Paige Luke. Garofalo and Kessler will now move on to the national ballot for Academic All-America honors, set to be announced on December 16. Rebecca Kessler: A second-team all-star, she recorded a goals-against average of 0.86 and achieved four shutouts. Off the field, Kessler has a 3.78 GPA in integrative neuroscience.
Paige Luke: She shone as one of the top forwards with six goals and six assists, leading the conference. Luke maintains a 3.65 GPA in psychology.

They set a record with a 13-game unbeaten streak (8-0-5) and only lost once during the regular season. The Bearcats also went unbeaten at home (6-0-1), showing remarkable consistency.
