The Cleverley Stone Foundation is bringing back “Eat Drink HTX” for its fifth year from February 15 to 28, 2026. This delicious two-week event aims to support the Houston Food Bank, which works tirelessly to battle hunger in the community.
The Houston Food Bank is one of the largest in the world. It provides healthy food and essential resources through a strong network of local partners. This partnership not only addresses immediate food needs but also promotes lasting solutions to food insecurity.
“Eat Drink HTX” invites restaurants from across the Houston area to join in. Whether in Lake Conroe, Sugar Land, or Galveston, the event welcomes various dining spots, making it easy for everyone to partake.
This event is special because it features more casual dining options with lower price points for brunch, lunch, and dinner menus. Founder Cleverley Stone noticed that restaurants often struggle after Valentine’s Day. This initiative helps boost their sales during a quieter time.
Katie Stone, president of the Cleverley Stone Foundation, stated, “This year’s proceeds will exclusively support the Houston Food Bank. Our goal has always been to aid local eateries while helping our community.”
Participating restaurants will donate a portion of their proceeds based on sales from the event. Here’s how the donations break down:
- Dinner: $25 with a $1 donation per meal.
- Lunch: $15 with a $0.50 donation.
- Brunch: $15 with a $0.50 donation.
Brian Greene, the president of the Houston Food Bank, emphasized the positive impact of “Eat Drink HTX.” He expressed gratitude for the funds raised, which will help provide nutritious food for families facing food insecurity.
Returning favorites include spots like Cellar 7 and Fadi’s Mediterranean, along with exciting new participants such as El Tiempo and Honest Mary’s. This mix ensures a delightful dining experience for everyone involved.
Recent trends show growing community interest in supporting local businesses and charities, especially through food events. A survey revealed that 70% of people prefer to choose restaurants that contribute to charitable causes.

This event exemplifies the spirit of community support—delicious meals for a good cause!
