Irvine, Calif. – The Concordia University Irvine women’s basketball team ended their regular season with a hard-fought 78-73 loss to Hawaii Pacific University at CU Arena. The game was particularly special as they honored two seniors, Camryn Kiernan and Kayla Cabaccang, for their dedication to the team.
The game was tightly contested, filled with plenty of lead changes. Despite the Golden Eagles’ effort, they struggled late in the game due to Hawaii Pacific’s strong free-throw shooting.
Camryn Kiernan shone in her final home game, scoring 25 points with impressive shooting—8-of-10 from the field and a perfect 5-of-5 from beyond the arc. Her clutch three-pointer in the final minute showcased her skill and determination, bringing the team within a single possession.
Overall, Concordia posted a solid shooting percentage—50.9% from the field and 63.6% from three. They fought hard to keep the game close, but Hawaii Pacific managed to maintain their lead with critical free throws.
