WIESBADEN, Germany – The Stronger Together Café Warrior Restaurant at Clay Kaserne is well-known for serving delicious meals to the U.S. Army Garrison Wiesbaden community, especially U.S. Army Europe and Africa headquarters. This café prides itself on providing high-quality dining experiences.

The Logistics Readiness Center (LRC) Wiesbaden often hears positive feedback about their food program. Recently, LRC Food Program Manager Felipe Cardozo received a heartfelt note from a parent of a student wrestler who enjoyed a meal at the café. Over 50 high school wrestlers from Ramstein dined there during the Department of Defense Education Activity Europe Wrestling Championships.
The note highlighted how the café not only served affordable and nutritious meals but also provided exceptional service. It specifically praised Zana Edmonds, the dining facility manager, for her care in accommodating a wrestler with serious food allergies. The parent shared how Edmonds took extra time to ensure safety by checking ingredients and showing food packaging.
“It meant a lot to us,” the note read. “Thanks to her, my son won first place in his weight class.” This feedback brought the team at LRC Wiesbaden a boost of motivation.
Cardozo knows the quality of work Edmonds brings. He first met her when she was providing food services to soldiers in Bulgaria. “We are lucky to have her on our team,” he said. Edmonds, a former Army staff sergeant and Purple Heart recipient, demonstrates her commitment to serving soldiers by ensuring they receive healthy meals.
The strong reputation of the Stronger Together Café stems from the teamwork of the entire staff. At this dining facility, there are both Army civilians and local national employees, along with contractors like Edmonds, who help manage food service operations.
LRC Wiesbaden is part of the 405th Army Field Support Brigade, which oversees logistics and support services. They handle everything from supply and maintenance to transportation and housing. Their goal is to provide excellent support to the community, including quality dining options at the Stronger Together Café.
In summary, the café is not just a place to eat; it’s a hub for community support, demonstrating how teamwork and dedication can create meaningful experiences for everyone, especially the soldiers and their families.
