William L. Porter, a notable car designer, passed away on April 25 at the age of 93 in Whitmore Lake, Michigan. His son Adam confirmed the news but did not disclose the cause of death.

For over 30 years, Porter worked as a senior designer at General Motors, shaping some iconic American cars during the late 1960s and early ’70s.
