Taking an enormous determination on Wednesday (December 25, 2024), the Central Government has transferred 7 senior secretaries. Of these, Rachna Shah has been made Secretary of DoPT, Arunish Chawla as Secretary of Revenue and Vineet Joshi as Secretary of Higher Education. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has permitted the transfers of senior IAS officers.
Rachna Shah is an IAS officer of Kerala cadre. Bihar cadre IAS Arunish Chawla can even maintain the further cost of the Culture Department. Manipur cadre IAS Vineet Joshi is at the moment the Chief Secretary of Manipur.

1. Rachna Shah was appointed Secretary of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT). Presently he’s Secretary in the Textile Ministry.
2. Arunish Chawla was appointed Secretary of the Revenue Department of the Finance Ministry. He will change Sanjay Malhotra, who not too long ago turned the RBI Governor. At current, Chawla is working as the Secretary of the Department of Pharmaceuticals. He will proceed to carry the further cost of Secretary of the Ministry of Culture.
3. Vineet Joshi is at the moment the Chief Secretary in Manipur. He was appointed Secretary in the Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education. They are Ok. Will change Sanjay Murthy.
4. Neelam Shammi Rao was appointed Secretary in the Textiles Ministry instead of Rachna Shah. Presently Rao is working as Secretary in the National Minorities Commission.
5. Sanjay Sethi was appointed Secretary of the National Commission for Minorities in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India. Sethi has been appointed to the put up of Secretary in the Textile Ministry.
Later Neelam has changed Shammi Rao.
6. Amit Aggarwal has changed Arunish Chawla as Secretary, Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers. Presently he’s the Director General of UIDAI.
7. Neerja Shekhar was quickly promoted and appointed as Director General, Productivity Council (underneath DPIIT) in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India. She will change S Gopalakrishnan who is now the chairman of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC).
