Moncks Corner native Charlamagne Tha God has stepped up once again for his community. As SNAP benefits are set to end on November 1, he’s making a significant donation to those in need. Just yesterday, he announced support for the Broad River Business Alliance, helping over 200 families.
Now, he’s directing his generosity to the Harvesting Hope Food Pantry, which will help provide 25,000 meals for local families dealing with food insecurity in Berkeley County. Tory Liferidge, Co-Executive Director of the Grace Impact Development Center, emphasized how crucial this funding is. “His commitment to Moncks Corner is making a real difference,” she said.
The Harvesting Hope Food Pantry is part of a bigger mission to support vulnerable populations in Berkeley County. This isn’t Charlamagne’s first act of kindness; he’s known for organizing backpack and turkey drives for nearly ten years.
