“The helicopter was my favorite!” Charlize said with excitement. She spent two weeks building trust with the pilot to nail the stunt. “In the end, I was hanging off a helicopter!” she added, laughing. It was both a physical and mental challenge.

In this sequel, Charlize and her co-stars—KiKi Layne, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Uma Thurman—face new threats to humanity from within their own group. The film ends on a gripping cliffhanger, hinting at a third installment. Producer Marc Evans mentioned, “The ending kind of demands a No. 3, which makes me very happy.”

For now, Theron plans to take a break before considering the next steps. She’s also gearing up to work with Christopher Nolan on “The Odyssey.” While she’s interested in directing someday, she believes it will be more feasible once her kids are older.
